15 Awesome (and Free) Mother’s Day Gifts
The Blessings of a child
21 When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.
John 16:21
Have fun this mother’s day
Mother’s day is here again. But, it’s such commercialized day. Hallmark cards, over-expensive gifts, and the hassle of going out to dinner. This year, try something new for your mom!
This list is really created with kids in mind. It is based on things my daughter did or things I’d love for her to do!
15 Things
Give mom breakfast in bed (or her favorite recliner). My daughter does this and I love it!
Clean your room (love this too).
Make handmade cards (so cute!).
Be good all day (got this last year – awesome!)
Sort the laundry.
Load/unload the dishwasher.
Do a craft together.
Make her favorite tea.
Bake/make her favorite dessert.
Take a walk to the park and relax.
Go on a picnic (even if it’s the backyard – fun!).
Spread a blanket on the floor and watch mom’s favorite movie with a bucket of popcorn.
Get mom her favorite book off the shelf and offer her some quiet time.
If you’re old enough, mow the grass.
Tell mom you love her. Tell her all day and give hugs each time!
Have a blessed Mother’s Day!
