These Days are Hard
It’s hard to be encouraged when things seem to be getting worse every day. I’ve reduced the amount of time I’m on social media drastically because it’s so negative right now. I’ve also cut back on how much news I’m consuming. The headlines alone are enough to make me want to curl up into a little ball. However, I will not allow those things to rob me of my peace. Here are some Bible verses that I’d like to share that I hope will help encourage you and help you find your peace.
Encouragement and Peace
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-733 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
John 16:336 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Romans 8:615 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Colossians 3:15-1627 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 14:272 Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in. 3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. 4 Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:

Trust in the Lord your God. He is our Father and our source of peace.
